angle-left Basilica celebrates birth of Jesus with Midnight mass

Yesterday, the Sagrada Família held what is known as Midnight mass, which celebrates the birth of Jesus, at a time that allowed children and families to take part. This was the second time the Basilica has included this mass in its Christmas celebrations.

The ceremony began at the Basilica at 7:00 pm and was led by Mons. Sergi Gordo, auxiliary bishop of Barcelona. Afterwards, mass-goers went outside for the adoration of the baby Jesus on the Nativity façade.
