Sagrada Família hosts performance of Mozart’s ‘Requiem’ with Liceu

The Basilica of the Sagrada Família hosted a performance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem by the musical ensembles of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, conducted by Giovanni Antonini.

The event, for people under 35 years old, gave the audience the chance to enjoy one of the most well-known pieces in musical history in a one-of-a-kind architectural setting.  The audience got a unique musical experience with this top quality performance.

This collaboration is the fruit of the Sagrada Família’s desire to open its doors to the public and help bring culture to the younger generations. A draw was held to give out 835 tickets for two among the 13,875 people who entered.
