Yesterday afternoon, the Basilica hosted the ceremony for the fourth edition of the Abbot Marcet Prize, which honours the most outstanding religious book written in Catalan.
Dr Armand Puig received the prize for his book Antoni Gaudí, Life and Work, published in November 2024.
The event was attended by Mr Ramon Bassas, the Autonomous Government of Catalonia’s Director General of Religious Affairs, and Mr Esteve Camps, Executive Chairman of the Junta Constructora de la Sagrada Família. The award was presented by Mr Joan Maluquer, President of the Spiritual League of the Virgin of Montserrat.
