On the afternoon of Tuesday, 20 January, My Gaudí: The biography written by his friends was presented at the Sagrada Família’s cloister of La Mercè, written by Chiara Curti, architect and Gaudí scholar. The book is a narrative that reconstructs the architect’s life based on the memories and original writings of some of the people who knew him.

Mr. Esteve Camps, delegated president of the Junta Constructora de la Sagrada Família, and Mr. Gabriele Luca Fava, Italian Consul General in Barcelona, gave a brief speech to those attending. Subsequently, a discussion took place between Mrs. Chiara Curti and Mr. Jordi Faulí, the lead architect, moderated by Mr. Josep Playà, journalist for La Vanguardia. The event was concluded by Mr. Galdric Santana, architect and commissioner of the Gaudí Year.
