Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus - Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus

The Sagrada Família hosted the Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus yesterday, Saturday 1 June, led by Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona, with Mons.  Javier Vilanova and Mons. David Abadías, Auxiliary Bishops of Barcelona.

At 9:00 pm, the Eucharistic adoration and praying of vespers began. Afterwards, the monstrance was taken in procession to the Passion façade and then into the crypt, where parishioners took it in turns to sit vigil until first thing the following morning.

This religious celebration was held for Corpus Christi, organised in conjunction with the diocese chapels of perpetual, nocturnal and diurnal adoration, Església Jove and the Archdioceses of Barcelona.

It was open to the public, with limited capacity, and was also streamed live on the website
