For Sant Jordi, the Sagrada Família once again invited the public to take part in an after-hours guided tour of the Basilica on 22 April, which 180 people took part in. There were 90 tickets for two, given out in a draw among the 43,304 people who entered.
Visitors also got to see “Llum primigènia” (Primeval Light), an audiovisual art installation that reinterprets the legend of Saint George using contemporary visual language. The installation contrasts with the sculpture of Saint George by Josep Maria Subirachs, reinforcing the connections between architecture, sculpture and audiovisual language. It will be on display through 27 April.
