“Sent la Creu” service at Sagrada Família - “Sent la Creu” service at Sagrada Família

On Sunday 9 March, the Basilica of the Sagrada Família hosted a “Sent la Creu” prayer vigil led by the Archbishop of Barcelona, Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, with Auxiliary Bishops of Barcelona Mons. David Abadías and Mons. Javier Vilanova.

This year’s event was dedicated to peace in Syria and featured Mons. Jean Abdou Arbach, Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Yabroud.

This celebration, which included testimonials and communion, marked the beginning of Lent with the younger members of the Barcelona diocese.
