Celebration and Eucharist for 25 years of Catechumenate Service - Celebration and Eucharist for 25 years of Catechumenate Service

On Saturday, 11 October, Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona, presided over the celebration and Eucharist for 25 years of the Catechumenate Service, at the Basilica of the Sagrada Família.

The homily was given by Mons. Francesc Conesa, Bishop of Solsona and head of SIC, and concelebrated by Mons. Sergi Gordo, Bishop of Tortosa; Fr Octavi Vilà, Bishop de Girona; Mons. Daniel Palau, Bishop of Lleida; Mons. Romà Casanova, Bishop of Vic; Mons. Javier Vilanova, Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona; and Mons. Javier Salinas, Emeritus Bishop and president of the Episcopal Sub-committee on Catechism for 15 years.

It was a gathering of adults baptised between 2000 and 2025.
