The Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família has opened the third call for the Social Action Fund, with €5 million, 40% more than the 2024 call and twice as much as in 2023. Also new this year, the geographic scope of the SAF programme has been expanded to include the dioceses of Terrassa and Sant Feliu, suffragan sees of the Archdiocese of Barcelona.

The rules of this third call are now available and the registration and accreditation period is open. The application period begins on 16 June and the deadline for applications is 31 July 2025.

The Sagrada Família Social Action Fund was established with a clear desire to serve the most vulnerable individuals and groups within the Archdiocese of Barcelona. The main goal of the Social Action Fund is to help build a society that is more humane, more just and more solidary.
