The Managing Director of the Fundació Junta Constructora de la Sagrada Família, Xavier Martínez, has been awarded the Gaudí Gresol for Notoriety and Excellence in the architecture category, an award that annually recognises the career and contributions of prominent figures from the business world and civil society.

Martínez accepted the award, a bronze reproduction of Antoni Gaudí’s bust, on Wednesday at the Gaudí Auditorium of firaReus, together with the other laureates.

The delegated president of the Sagrada Família, Esteve Camps, the chief architect, Jordi Faulí, the construction manager, Ramon Espel, and the sculptor Etsuro Sotoo have received this distinction in previous editions.
