Comandància Naval de Barcelona presented an award to Mr Esteve Camps i Sala, Executive Chairman of the Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família Foundation, in acknowledgement of the cooperation and hospitality offered to Navy personnel visiting Barcelona.

The event, held as part of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, patron saint of the Navy, highlighted the relationship between Comandància Naval de Barcelona and the Sagrada Família.

Barcelona Naval Commander Emilio Aceña Medina noted the “warm, generous welcome” the Foundation offers Navy personnel, particularly from ships calling at the city’s port.

Comandància Naval de Barcelona congratulated the Junta Constructora for its recent inauguration of the tower of Jesus Christ, an event that, they noted, has helped project Barcelona and the Sagrada Família internationally
