This November, the Sagrada Família starts its training programme "Foundations of the Christian religion and its teachings" for official Basilica guides and educators.

The training aims to teach participants how to understand and properly connect the intrinsic relationship between faith and architecture in Gaudí’s work; put this message in context and ground it with contributions from religious and biblical sciences; and understand and value the Christian religious message inherent in all the symbology at the Basilica of the Sagrada Família.

The programme has been created in collaboration with the Blanquerna-URL Foundation and will be taught by faculty members from the Blanquerna-URL School of Psychology, Education and Sport Science and various institutions from the Ateneu Universitari Sant Pacià, as well as external educators. There will also be guest speakers, including Dr Francesc Torralba, Dr Claustre Solé, Maria del Mar Albajar, Dr Robert Baró, Dr David Abadies, Dr Armand Puig and Mons. Josep Maria Turull.

This training aims to keep improving visitors’ experience at the Sagrada Família.
