The exhibition “The power of a shared dream” opened this Friday September 18, and looks back at the key milestones in the construction of the Sagrada Família. A hundred years after Antoni Gaudí’s death, the project continues advancing thanks to the sum of shared knowledge, decisions and generations.

The exhibition focuses on the collective nature of the Temple, which was initially promoted by the people and has grown over more than five generations thanks to the contributions of everyone who has made it possible.

The display shows how this shared dream has overcome difficulties and remains alive thanks to the decisions that allow it to keep advancing. Gaudí knew construction would take several generations and left plans, drawings, descriptions and models that have marked the work of his successors.

The exhibition also highlights how the Sagrada Família has evolved into a global icon and a place where artisan traditions co-exist with modern technology. With the inauguration of the tower of Jesus Christ, 2026 has been a historic moment for the Basilica, symbolic of the power of this shared dream.
