On Monday 9 December, President of the Parliament of Catalonia Josep Rull visited the Sagrada Família and greeted members of the Board of Trustees.

On this visit, Rull was welcomed by Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona, and Mons. David Abadías, Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona; as well as Executive Chairman Esteve Camps and the rest of the Board of Trustees, and General Director Xavier Martínez.

During the visit, they spoke about the details of the events to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Antoni Gaudí's death, which will begin next year. Rull ensured them that the Parliament will be part of these commemorations.
