Today the Sagrada Família welcomed His Eminence Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, Prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education.

Head Architect Jordi Faulí shared with him the architectural details of the Temple and the intrinsic relationship between architecture and faith in Gaudi’s work.

 Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça was appointed Prefect of the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education by the Holy Father on 26 September 2022. The Dicastery for Culture and Education works for the development of people’s human values in the context of Christian anthropology, contributing to the full realisation of Christian discipleship. The Section for Culture promotes and supports relations between the Holy See and the world of culture.
