On 27 February, the Basilica hosted the ordination of five new priests in the Archdiocese of Barcelona: Mons. Sergi Adán Delgado, Mons. Alfonso de Alarcón Santaeularia, Mons. Santiago Cellier Ravina, Mons. Pau Manent Bistu and Mons. Federico Marfil Mur.

Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona, led the presbyteral ordination ceremony.
