The Sagrada Família’s Passion façade was the setting this Saturday, 2 May, for the staging of various episodes of the Passion, from the trial before Pilate and Calvary to the crucifixion and the descent from the cross. Under the motto “The stone comes to life,” nearly 200 participants; actors, musicians, and singers, shaped a show organised by the Catalan Federation of Passions, which combined theatre, live music, and singing, and which could be followed from the street.

The performance, held within the framework of the joint celebration programme for the Gaudí Year, was subsequently carried out by the Passions of La Bisbal d’Empordà, Mataró and Ulldecona.
