Sagrada Família hosts Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus - Sagrada Família hosts Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus

On 10 June, the Basilica of the Sagrada Família held the Diocese Eucharistic Adoration for Corpus, officiated by the Cardinal and Archbishop of Barcelona, Joan Josep Omella i Omella.

At 9:00 pm, Eucharistic adoration and praying of vespers began. At the end, the monstrance was moved in procession to the Passion façade and then into the crypt, where parishioners took it in turns to sit vigil until first thing the following morning.

This liturgical celebration was officiated on the occasion of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi and was organised together with the diocese chapels of perpetual and nocturnal adoration, Església Jove and the Archdiocese of Barcelona.

The event was free to attend until reaching full capacity, and was also ​streamed live via sagradafamilia.org and esglesia.barcelona/en-directe.
