angle-left Sagrada Família celebrates Santa Eulàlia festivities

The Sagrada Família gave out 8,500 free tickets to visit the Basilica and celebrate the Santa Eulàlia festivities with the public on 10 and 11 February. On Sunday 4 February, the draw was held with the 79,114 people who entered between 29 January and 4 February.

During the Open Doors Days, visitors got to see the inside of the Basilica, the museum and the Schools. New this time, they got to discover the new immersive room at the museum, inaugurated in December, and spaces not open to the public, such as the cyma garden, the roofs and the inside of the tower of the Virgin Mary, through an augmented reality experience on the official Sagrada Família app.

With this initiative, the Basilica joined in the city’s Santa Eulàlia celebrations for the third year in a row. Plus, the traditional Open Doors Days for the Mercè festivities are held each September, sharing the latest news on the works with the public.
