The Sagrada Família has invited citizens to take part by giving out 400 tickets among all those who registered.

The popular culture ceremony featured popular culture groups, with collaboration from the Barcelona City Council Institute of Culture (ICUB).

The event was designed specially for this historic milestone, featuring Cobla Sant Jordi – Ciutat de Barcelona, Esbart Gaudí, Castellers de la Sagrada Família, Confederació Sardanista de Catalunya, Àliga de la Ciutat, Capgrossos Macers, Gegants de la Ciutat and Gegants de la Sagrada Família.

After the performance, there was sardana dancing in Plaça de Gaudí, with the Cobla Sant Jordi – Ciutat de Barcelona.

The central event will start at 6:00 pm, with a mass led by Cardinal Joan Josep Omella i Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona, and afterwards, the blessing of the tower of the Virgin Mary.

At 7:40 pm, the whole tower of the Virgin Mary and its star will be lit up and streamed live on estel.sagradafamilia.org.
