angle-left Gaudí House Museum updates video for visitors

Gaudí House Museum, located in Park Güell and the architect’s home for nearly two decades, has updated the institutional video visitors can watch while visiting the inside of the home. The audiovisual provides more information on the history of the home and the context in which it was built, as well as taking visitors into Gaudí’s personal life, beyond his work in Barcelona and the impact of his architecture.

The video has two parts. The first looks at the historical context in which the Park Güell project came about and the Count of Güell, and the second focuses on Gaudí. It explains the architect’s daily life in what is now the House Museum, which is known thanks to the Carmelite nuns of Sant Josep who cared for him at that time.

An extract of the video, which you can see in full at the Gaudí House Museum, is available here.
