Today marks the beginning of the Sagrada Família Open Doors Days, coinciding like every year with the La Mercè festivities. New this year, the Open Doors Days have been extended to four days: 21, 22, 23 and 24 September.

This time, 20,000 people will get to visit the Basilica for free thanks to the ticket draw held on 16 September, which 66,580 people entered.  At the Open Doors Days this year, visitors will get to see the work under way to complete the tower of Jesus Christ: for the first time, part of the prototype of the cross that will top the tower will be on display in the materials yard. Participants will also be able to visit the museum and new audiovisual room.
