angle-left Sagrada Família to give out 20,000 tickets to the public to celebrate La Mercè

Coinciding with the La Mercè festivities, the Sagrada Família will host its Open Doors Days to bring the Basilica closer to the public and showcase the current state of the works. This year, there will be 20,000 tickets to visit the Temple over four days: on 24, 25, 26 and 27 September from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (except on Saturday 26 September, when it will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).

The visit will include a tour of the Nativity façade, the interior of the Basilica, the Liturgical path, the museum and the Passion façade. Inside, visitors will also get to see the exhibition “The power of a shared dream”, which is part of the commemorative programme for Gaudí Year. It is a photographic journey through the key moments in this shared dream, highlighting the collective efforts that have made it possible: the people who have kept it alive, overcoming challenges and propelling it into the future.

New this year, the materials yard will feature a display with three of the sculptures that will be on the outside of the Chapel of the Assumption: the figures of Saint Joseph Oriol and Saint Roch, and one of the four angels that will crown the dome and hold up the Virgin Mary’s blue mantle.

Anyone interested in attending the Open Doors Days can enter the draw to win tickets from 14 September to 20 September at 9:00 pm using the form available HERE. The winners will be notified from 20 September.
