This Saturday 22 August, the Sagrada Família took part in Meeting per l’Amicizia fra i Popoli de Rimini (Italy). The Meeting is one of the most important cultural gatherings in Europe, bringing together representatives of culture, science, art and faith.
The session titled “The Sagrada Família: Living stone through time” featured Jordi Faulí, head architect of the Basilica; Chiara Curti, architect, lecturer and researcher in the Antoni Gaudí Faculty; Andrea Mastrovito, sculptor and creator of the Agnus Dei for the tower of Jesus Christ; and Marco Bersanelli, professor of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Milan. The event was moderated by Martina Saltamacchia, associate professor of Medieval History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
