The tower of Jesus Christ continues advancing - The tower of Jesus Christ continues advancing

Today, the platform inside the tower of Jesus Christ was put in place at 143.5 metres. It is an important step because it completes the stone core we began building in 2019, at 85 metres, and connects the interior of the tower to its outer structure.

On the outside, the twelfth level has the same geometric traits as the rest of the tower, with triangular windows that follow the paraboloid shapes of Gaudí’s design. This is also the last stage where mainly stone is used, as the pinnacle has various elements with ornamental features and decorations in trencadís mosaic, true to the Catalan architect’s style.

Inside, the tower has a stone staircase that gets wider closer to the top as the tower gets progressively narrower. This combination of shapes creates a unique architectural effect when, on this twelfth level, the staircase inside coincides with the inner wall of the tower in a visual and structural fusion.

We are working towards our goal of finishing the tower of Jesus Christ by the end of 2025.
