Gaudí’s towers in the hands of the public - Gaudí’s towers in the hands of the public

As part of the Family Architecture Day, which will take place outside the Sagrada Família on 4 October, the Temple has launched a collaboration with the three Gaudí houses located outside Catalonia: El Capricho de Gaudí, in Comillas; Casa Botines, in León; and the Palace of Gaudí, in Astorga. This educational initiative aims to bring the architecture of the towers closer to the public, highlight models as one of Gaudí’s working tools, and strengthen the ties between the institutions that promote his legacy.

The project has been developed jointly by the four institutions. The designs have been adapted into a system of assembleable pieces, and four three-dimensional cardboard models have been produced, together with the corresponding instructions. Each institution has commissioned several units to be used in educational activities during Architecture Week.
