angle-left Sagrada Família representatives visit ‘Gaudí, Pagès i l’Obrera’ exhibition

On 5 November, Mr Joan Trias de Bes, member of the Sagrada Família Board of Trustees; Mr Xavier Martínez, General Director; Marta Otzet, Director of Culture and Socio-Educational Action at the Sagrada Familia; and Mr Jordi Faulí, head architect of the Basilica; accompanied by the team of architects, visited ‘Gaudí, Pagès i l’Obrera’ at Nau Gaudí in Mataró.

The exhibition delves deeper into Antoni Gaudí’s early career and relationship with Salvador Pagès, who created a co-operative called L’Obrera Mataronense and gave the architect his first big commission.

The L’Obrera project gave Gaudí a place to experiment with architecture that encompassed buildings, urban space, technical innovation and social commitment.
