“We’re all towers of the same humanity” was inaugurated on 13 December 2021 to commemorate the inauguration of the tower of the Virgin Mary. There were 2,400 participants from 20 occupational workshops in Barcelona, 24 elderly care centres in the city, 5 mental health organisations and 5 organisations from the Sagrada Família Community Plan.
The piece has been on display on the Sagrada Família grounds since it was inaugurated, so that anyone who comes to the Basilica can see the creative capacity of the people who took part.
This initiative was promoted by the Basilica of the Sagrada Família, with the Artenea Foundation, Apropa Cultura and the Barcelona City Council, and support from the Association of Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of Barcelona.
This June our visitors will be able to continue admiring this artistic piece, which will be on display in the ambulatory until the end of December.
