The Basilica of the Sagrada Família celebrated the Closing Mass for the centenary of Col·legi Montserrat on Tuesday, 29 September. The school was founded by the Congregation of the Missionary Daughters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. Presided over by Bishop David Abadías, Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona, the Mass was attended by Esteve Camps, Delegate President of the Foundation of the Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família, as well as other members of the Management Committee.

The Eucharistic celebration brought together members of the educational community, students, former students and families linked to the school.

Founded in Barcelona in 1926, Montserrat School has completed a century of educational work inspired by the charism of Saint Josep Manyanet and a commitment to the comprehensive education of individuals.

The celebration marked the end of the commemorative events for the centenary, an anniversary that provided an opportunity to remember the history and legacy of the school throughout the past century.
