Presentation of «El Camino de Gaudí» - Presentation of «El Camino de Gaudí»

On Friday the Basilica’s Mercè Cloister hosted the inaugural presentation of “El Camino de Gaudí”, a project arising from the collaboration agreement that the Sagrada Família entered into with El Capricho de Gaudí (Cantabria), Casa Botines Museum (León), and Palacio de Gaudí (Astorga) to develop coordinated initiatives as part of the centenary of the architect's death. This initiative strives to shed new light on the architect through a route that goes beyond tourism, connecting with outreach and philanthropic spheres, especially aimed at younger audiences.

Mr. Esteve Camps, president of the Sagrada Família Expiatory Temple Construction Board, welcomed the attendees. He was followed by Mr. Carlos Miralpex, El Capricho de Gaudí director, Mr. José María Viejo, general director of FUNDOS, the organization that manages the Casa Botines Museum. The event also included video messages from Father Víctor Murías, director of the Gaudí Palace, and written messages from Mr. Galdic Santana, director of the Gaudí Chair and commissioner of the Gaudí Year.
