angle-left Resolution of second Social Action Fund grant call

The resolution of the 2024 grants awarded by the Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família Foundation Social Action Fund has been announced. The resolution and panel’s record of proceedings are available here.

Applications were accepted from 29 October to 10 December 2024. From 11 December, the assessment process began for the projects submitted. They were evaluated by a panel of judges and a technical committee designated for this purpose, based on quality, technical and financial criteria, as the rules for the call establish.

The total earmarked for this second call of the Social Action Fund was €3.5 million, up from €2.3 million for the first call, which jointly funded 56 projects. Interest in this programme continues to grow: this time 530 projects registered and 269 of those were considered eligible.

The Sagrada Família Social Action Fund was established with a clear desire to serve the most vulnerable individuals and groups within the Archdiocese of Barcelona. It is based on three pillars: community, geared towards those who make it up; equity, so we all have the same opportunities; and solidarity, which is the human value that pushes us to act to build a better society; a society that is more humane, more just and more solidary.

The Sagrada Família thanks you for your interest in the second call of the Social Action Fund.
