As part of the La Mercè festivities, Barcelona’s main feast day, the Sagrada Família will hold its annual Open Doors Days, an event designed to present the current status of the construction works to the public. New this year, the Open Doors Days will be extended to four days: 21, 22, 23 and 24 September. This time, visitors will have the opportunity to see how work is progressing on the completion of the tower of Jesus Christ: for the first time, a fragment of the prototype of the cross that will crown the tower will be displayed (specifically, half of one arm) in the materials courtyard.

Today, the draw for the 20,000 tickets made available to the public has taken place. Interested individuals could register through a form available on the website and social media from 10:00 am on 9 September to 10:00 am on 16 September.

On 17 and 18 September, the winners will get an email with their tickets, including the date and time of their visit.
