“Llum primigènia” (Primeval Light), an audiovisual installation about the legend of Saint George

From 21 to 27 April, the Basilica of the Sagrada Família will feature an audiovisual art installation that reinterprets the legend of Saint George using contemporary visual language that evokes the battle between good and evil, and light and darkness. The installation fits perfectly in the Basilica, in conversation with the sculpture of Saint George by Josep Maria Subirachs, reinforcing the connections between architecture, sculpture and audiovisual language. It connects Christian iconography and contemporary digital art, opening up a space for contemplation and spiritual renewal.

People called Jordi and Jordina from around the world can visit the Basilica for free on Sant Jordi

On 23 April, people called Jordi, Jordina or the equivalent names in languages around the world can visit the Basilica for free with a guest. Anyone interested can book their tickets on the website from 13 April. Tickets are subject to availability at the time.
