Gaudí Awards presented to baccalaureate research projects and higher vocational training course projects at the Basilica

The ceremony presenting the second annual Gaudí Awards for baccalaureate research projects and higher vocational training course projects on religious fact took place on 12 June at 6:00 pm.
The awards are organised by Ateneu Universitari Sant Pacià in Barcelona and the Christian School Foundation of Catalonia (FECC), with collaboration from Castellnou Edicions, and are open to all schools in Catalonia.
First prize went to Gemma Magre Ramírez, from Institut Jaume Huguet in Valls, for her work titled “L’ermita dels sants metges de Sarral. Simbologia i abast social” (The hermitage of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Sarral. Symbology and social reach). Second prize went to the project titled “Els rastres de la comunitat jueva a Mallorca i a Tarragona” (Traces of the Jewish community in Mallorca and Tarragona), by Anna Pallejà Franquet of Col·legi Lestonnac in Tarragona. Finally, the third prize went to Marc Tarrida Boliart of Col·legi Jesuïtes Sarrià - Sant Ignasi, Barcelona, for his work “Diversitat de creences i religions. El diàleg interreligiós, el camí a la convivència” (Diversity of beliefs and religions. Interreligious dialogue, the road to co-existing).
The event took place in the cloister of Our Lady of Mercy at the Basilica of the Sagrada Família with the winners and their guests, plus representatives of AUSP, FECC and Castellnou Edicions.
