Part of Sagrada Família collection of heritage items, now online

The Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família Foundation’s Department of Heritage Assets is making part of its collection of heritage assets, with basic information on each piece, available to the public on its website. 

Of all the Foundation’s heritage items, 200 will be made available in this first phase. They are most of the pieces on display in the Foundation’s exhibition spaces, those on loan to other institutions and the most important ones from the reserve collection. Some of the most noteworthy pieces include the model for the Nativity façade created by Antoni Gaudí and painted by Josep Maria Jujol, and the original models for some of the sculptures on the Nativity façade, also by Gaudí.

The Foundation expects to progressively expand the selection of works available to the public online.
