angle-left Nativity façade lit up for Christmas

To share the Christmas spirit with the people and celebrate the 800th anniversary of the first crèche, the Sagrada Família is illuminating the Nativity façade and bringing to life the Nativity scenes sculpted in stone that Gaudí designed. In chronological order, the various sculpture groups of the Nativity, the Adoration of the shepherds and the Adoration of the Magi are lit up, accompanied by music and narration.

You can watch the light show from Carrer de la Marina from 20 to 22 December. Each session lasts 10 to 12 minutes. On 20 December, the sessions started at 7:30 pm and continued until 9:30 pm, and on 21 and 22 December they will run from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The sessions are in Catalan and Spanish. 

This event is free of charge and open to all.
