On 8 November at 7:00 pm, the Sagrada Família hosted the inauguration of the ‘Creative Courage’ exhibition, looking back from the beginnings to present day, to celebrate the eleventh anniversary of the consecration of the Basilica.
After a welcome by Mons. Sergi Gordo, auxiliary bishop of Barcelona, there was a conference featuring head architect of the Sagrada Família Dr Jordi Faulí i Oller.
Afterwards, there was an inauguration of the exhibition, which reflects graphically the beginnings and path up to current day.
The events remembered the Asociación Espiritual de Devotos de San José (Spiritual Association of the Devotees of Saint Joseph), the precursor to the current Board of Trustee of the Junta Constructora, as the Sagrada Família wanted to pay tribute to Saint Joseph on the 150th anniversary of his being declared Patron of the Universal Church and for his huge significance in Antoni Gaudí’s project.
The exhibition will be on now through 10 January 2022 at the Basilica.
