angle-left Sagrada Família expands family and educational offering

During the 2025-2026 academic year, the Sagrada Família welcomed a total of 145,213 students on 5,596 educational visits, which is 7.2% more than the previous year. In addition to the usual visits, the Basilica also offered new educational initiatives to share its heritage with children and young people through active, participative experiences.

Some of the new projects included a technology workshop, the tower of Jesus Christ contest for Gaudí Year, and new visits for secondary-school students with innovative materials to encourage more active learning about the Temple. At the same time, a pilot programme was also rolled out to test a new visit for primary students.

For families this year, there was a new workshop/visit focusing on the tower of Barnabas, adding to an activity with growing demand. Plus, a new educational website was launched with videos, games, learning resources and teaching guides for educators, to enrich the educational experience before and after visiting the Basilica.
