Testimony of the Temple’s evolution
Since 1866, the Sagrada Família has had its own magazine that shares the advances in construction and bears witness to the various acts that take place there. Initially published under the name El Propagador de la Devoción a San José, in 1946 it was changed to Templo and it 1982 to Temple. From 2020, this publication is also available in digital format.

The dream remains
The goal of the Junta Constructora del Temple de la Sagrada Família was to complete the works in 2026. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible. Because of the Covid pandemic, we had to stop construction unexpectedly. The works are funded by the millions of people from all over the world who visit the Sagrada Família each year, and these funds dropped to practically zero. The situation has led us to make decisions aimed at adjusting our expenses to a sustainable level, allowing us to continue working at a minimum while waiting for income to return to 2019 levels.
Given this situation, we have made the effort to publish a special issue on the 10th anniversary of the consecration of the Basilica, but this will be the last one for now. This isn’t goodbye; it’s see you again in better times.
In the meantime, the dream remains, as does our commitment to finish the works in the near future.
