angle-left Live stream the peregrine falcon nest at the Sagrada Família

Since 2003, a pair of peregrine falcons have been nesting at the Sagrada Família as part of a project to reintroduce this species that the Barcelona City Council and Galanthus Natura launched in 1999. The Basilica was chosen because it was one of the last places these birds nested and fledged chicks before disappearing from the city. Between 2005 and 2025, 54 chicks were born.

As part of this project, a webcam has been installed so people can live stream the whole process. Now you can stream the daily lives of this pair of falcons here.

To ensure the continuity and dissemination of the project, the agreement between the Municipal Institute of Parks and Gardens and the Junta Constructora del Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família Foundation was renewed in 2025.
