angle-left Sagrada Família and Barcelona Cathedral inaugurate exhibition “A new star shines in Barcelona”

On 9 December at 8:00 pm, the photo exhibit “A new star shines in Barcelona” was inaugurated at the Casa de la Pia Almoina of the Museu Diocesà de Barcelona. This initiative came out of the twinning of the Sagrada Família and the Barcelona Cathedral and aims to commemorate the completion of the tower of the Virgin Mary.

The event featured Mons. Robert Baró, Director of the Museu Diocesà de Barcelona and

Mr Esteve Camps, Executive Chairman of the Junta Constructora de la Sagrada Família.

The exhibition is a collection of photos showing how the tower of the Virgin Mary was built over the past few years, highlighting the construction process and method used for the star.

It features, among other things, a model of the pinnacle of the tower of the Virgin Mary, glass samples, a wrought-iron star from the crown and a large-format photograph.

The exhibition will be on now through 9 January.
